A new avalanche between Camp 1 and 2 of the Huascarán snow-capped mountain, at 5,600 meters above sea level, affected three mountaineers today, Thursday, July 16, around 7 in the morning. Two of them are reportedly injured, while one of their companions is said to be helping them.
According to ATV Noticias, they would be two Chilean citizens and one Spaniard, who were affected by a gigantic mass of ice in this part of the Áncash region.
