Paolo Guerrero and Christian Cueva met again after a match, but this time wearing different jerseys. The two legends of the Peruvian national team shared an emotional moment in the tunnel of the National Stadium, when they crossed paths on their way to the locker rooms after the match between Alianza Lima and Sport Boys.
The L1 Max cameras captured the moment and the images quickly circulated on social media. Guerrero and Cueva greeted each other warmly with laughter, showing the closeness they have maintained for several years. The encounter was brief, but enough to recall the friendship they built during their experiences with the national team.

Both shared a locker room during one of the most important stages in the recent history of the Bicolor. They were together on the road to the 2018 Russia World Cup and also took part in the process towards Qatar 2022, as well as coinciding in different editions of the Copa América.
The relationship between Guerrero and Cueva goes beyond football. Both are fans of Alianza Lima and today their careers have them defending the colors of two different teams: Guerrero plays for the blanquiazul squad, while Cueva plays for Sport Boys.
That is why the hug and laughter in the tunnel had a special meaning for Peruvian fans. Beyond the temporary rivalry between their teams, a friendship that was born in the national team and has lasted over the years was once again reflected.
