Colombia records 314 fatalities ten days after the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that shook the country on August 10, according to a bulletin from the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD) released this Wednesday.
The entity detailed that there are still 262 missing, raised the number of injured to 4,437 and counted 364 people rescued, while the number of affected families stood at 147,464, corresponding to 262,154 people in 471 municipalities of 15 of the 32 departments of the country.
The number of destroyed homes increased to 30,664, while another 136,946 have damages and 302 buildings have collapsed, the latter mainly in Cali and Pereira, capitals of the departments of Valle del Cauca and Risaralda, respectively.

Damages were also recorded in 352 health centers, 3,470 educational centers, 4,971 community centers, 449 roads, 105 aqueducts, 58 vehicular bridges, 13 pedestrian bridges, and five airports.
The earthquake is the strongest suffered by Colombia in this quarter of a century and also affected the departments of Caldas, Quindío, and Chocó, the Colombian Pacific region where the epicenter was located, in the municipality of San José del Palmar.
