The schedule distributes deposits over four days and groups state entities according to the sector they belong to, so the payment date will depend directly on the institution where each employee works. WHEN DO PUBLIC WORKERS GET PAID IN AUGUST?
Salary payments began this Thursday, August 20, and will continue until Tuesday, August 25, according to the official schedule. Workers must identify the group to which their institution belongs to know their corresponding payment date. The schedule is organized as follows:
- Thursday, August 20: Ministries of Education (including Universities), Transport and Communications, Defense, Economy and Finance, Justice, Agrarian and Irrigation, Energy and Mines. Also paid are the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Judiciary, Public Ministry, Regional Governments: Executing Units, Comptroller General of the Republic, Congress of the Republic.
- Friday, August 21: Ministries of Interior, Development and Social Inclusion, Housing, Construction and Sanitation, and Foreign Affairs. Also the Ombudsman’s Office.
- Monday, August 24: Ministries of Health; Women and Vulnerable Populations; Culture; Environment; Labor and Employment Promotion. Also the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status.
- Tuesday, August 25: Ministries of Production and Foreign Trade and Tourism. Also paid are the National Office of Electoral Processes, Military Police Jurisdiction, National Justice Board, National Jury of Elections, and the Constitutional Court.
WHERE CAN STATE EMPLOYEES COLLECT THEIR PAY?
Public workers can go to Banco de la Nación offices on the date assigned to their entity to collect their salaries. The schedule corresponds to the annual calendar approved to organize the payments received by state employees.
DOES THE SCHEDULE INCLUDE BONUSES AND OTHER BENEFITS?
The calendar includes salary payment dates, while other concepts are paid when due according to current regulations. In July, a bonus of S/300 was given. The second bonus of the year is scheduled for December for an amount of S/300. WHICH BANCO DE LA NACIÓN BRANCHES ARE CLOSED?
Some offices have temporarily stopped attending due to the rains. The branches that will remain closed until further notice are:
- Lima: branch 2 Villa María del Triunfo, located at Av. Salvador Allende No. 699.
- Arequipa: branches of Caravelí, Chala, and Atico.
- Ayacucho: branch 2 Puquio.
In this context, Banco de la Nación recommended using its alternative channels while the temporary suspension continues. These include ATMs, correspondent agents, the APP BN application, virtual banking, and Págalo.pe, options that allow different transactions without necessarily going to a physical branch.
