With the aim of decentralizing healthcare and providing timely care, the Social Health Insurance (EsSalud) has its mobile hospital available in the province of Tarma, located in the Junín region. Through Hospital Perú, it is projected to provide more than 5,471 medical consultations starting this Tuesday, September 8.

The event will take place at Hospital I Tarma, located on block 16 of Manuel A. Odría Avenue, and will continue uninterrupted until Wednesday, September 16. During these days, insured individuals will have access to a wide range of services including general medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, gynecology, and otorhinolaryngology.
Additionally, care will be provided in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as essential complementary services such as ultrasound scans, nursing care, and direct delivery of medications at the pharmacy.
This campaign, coordinated with the Junín Assistance Network, will seek to strengthen the operational capacity of local centers and relieve the high demand, prioritizing comprehensive care for patients from the central highlands.

Dr. María Hernández, Flexible Offer Manager at EsSalud, emphasized that these mobile sessions are key to speeding up medical appointments in the interior of the country. The official highlighted that medical teams travel through various regions continuously with the firm purpose of bringing services closer and responding to the needs of the population.
To date, Hospital Perú has carried out 35 deployments nationwide, exceeding a total of 192,043 consultations. Its continuous operation benefits both the major healthcare networks of Lima Rebagliati, Almenara, and Sabogal as well as thousands of patients in regions such as La Libertad, Junín, Puno, and Cajamarca.
