The Minister of Labor, Juan Sheput, stated this Monday that the request for delegation of powers to Congress is beginning to have a sort of deadline (deadline) and estimated that it could be addressed in this week’s Council of Ministers.
During his participation in the podcast ‘Tenemos que hablar’ by El Comercio, Sheput specified that the agenda for this week’s cabinet session has not yet been defined and that this decision corresponds to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
“The issue of the delegation of powers is beginning to have a sort of deadline, we have not yet received the agenda, but that will be decided by the Presidency of the PCM”, he declared when consulted by El Comercio.
The head of the Ministry of Labor pointed out that, in his view, the request should already begin to be discussed, within the framework of the various measures the Executive seeks to promote.
“I think it should be addressed already, the set of actions related to the El Niño Phenomenon, citizen security, the proposals of some ministers and, in this case, the possibility that the delegation of powers on labor issues be addressed,” he said.
