For now, Ibai Llanos has not given a start date for the competition, but he has already invited his followers from various parts of the world to propose the dishes that will represent each country.

For his part, he made a preselection. For Spain, he suggested paella; for Argentina, asado; for Peru, ceviche; and for Mexico, tacos. It will be the public, through their comments on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, who will determine the participants.

As a reminder, in August 2025, Ibai Llanos started the Breakfast World Cup, a digital competition that generated a lot of movement among the Spanish audience. That contest declared the Peruvian pork rind sandwich as the winner.

After the end of that World Cup, the influencer went on a tour of Latin America in which he recorded videos of the cuisines of countries such as Chile, Colombia, and Peru. What do you think of this new competition? What dish should represent Peru?
