U.S. President Donald Trump assured this Thursday that Russia “will not attack” NATO territory, dismissing press reports according to which Washington is concerned about a possible Russian action in Europe.

Trump noted that he has had “good conversations” with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “He will not attack NATO territory,” he emphasized.
The U.S. president made these comments after the Kremlin described as “alarmist stories” the press reports about the CIA director’s visit to Moscow this week.
“Currently, many alarmist news stories are being published. Of course, this has nothing to do with reality or Russia’s intentions,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this Thursday, stating that Moscow faces “aggression” from European countries.
Russia, which has been waging a war in Ukraine since 2022, has repeatedly denied that it intends to attack any NATO country.
