Dog and cat owners looking to better care for their pets’ health will have a free option this Sunday, August 30, in Lima. A municipality will carry out a veterinary campaign with consultations, deworming, flea control, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and other basic care at no cost. There will also be free rabies vaccination, while other vaccines will be offered at a social price for interested neighbors. The day will include adoptions, food donations for shelters, and a pet product fair. Some services will have limited spots, so it is recommended to arrive early and take necessary precautions. WHICH DISTRICT WILL ORGANIZE THE FREE VETERINARY CAMPAIGN?
The event will be led by the Municipality of Lince and will take place on César Vallejo Avenue, block 11, exactly at the intersection with Mateo Pumacahua street. Owners can come this Sunday, August 30, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to access the planned activities.

WHAT FREE VETERINARY SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE?
The campaign will offer several services focused on the prevention and well-being of dogs and cats. These include:
- Veterinary consultation to examine the pet and receive care recommendations.
- Deworming and flea treatment to prevent or control these parasites.
- Nail trimming, aimed at keeping the paws in good condition.
- Direct ear examination and cleaning to detect abnormalities and remove dirt.
- Veterinary ultrasound to support the evaluation of certain conditions, although spots will be limited.
- Rabies vaccination, available free of charge until stock runs out.
WHICH VACCINES WILL BE OFFERED AT A SOCIAL PRICE?
Not all vaccines will be free. Some will be available for an affordable payment, according to the municipal proposal. Owners will find the following doses:
- KC, aimed at protecting dogs against common respiratory diseases.
- Leptospira, intended to prevent leptospirosis in dogs.
- Quintuple, which provides protection against several diseases and will have limited stock.
- Feline triple, indicated to protect cats against three infectious diseases.
The amount of available doses will determine how long some vaccines remain in the campaign, so they could run out during the day, according to Infobae.
