A shooting recorded around the civic square of Manchay, in Pachacámac, caused concern during the Armonía 10 concert. In the middle of the performance, the members of the group left the stage and, subsequently, the show was announced to be suspended. In response to what happened, the orchestra indicated that their withdrawal was due to the lack of security measures and dismissed a presumed attack.
Through their social media, the orchestra stated that the concert suspension was exclusively due to the lack of conditions and security guarantees to continue the show.

“We inform that our participation was suspended upon verifying that the necessary conditions and security guarantees to continue with the development of the presentation were not met, both for the attending public and for our artists, musicians, technical team, and other group personnel”, the orchestra stated.

Likewise, Armonía 10 maintained that the decision was made preventively. “The decision was made preventively and responsibly, always prioritizing the integrity and safety of our audience and everyone who makes up Armonía 10”, the orchestra specified.
Armonía 10 denies having suffered an attack
On the other hand, the group spoke out about the versions that claimed their bus or members had been attacked. “Regarding the various versions circulating on social media about a presumed attack against our bus, our members, or our group, we consider it necessary to clarify that Armonía 10 has not suffered any attack or similar incident”, the statement said.

The orchestra reiterated that the suspension of their performance was solely for security reasons and that the measure sought to safeguard both the public and the members of their team.
“We reiterate that the decision to suspend our presentation was made exclusively as a preventive measure and to safeguard the integrity of our audience and our team”, the document reads.
Finally, Armonía 10 thanked the expressions of concern, affection, and solidarity received from their followers. “We again thank our audience for their concern, affection, and understanding. God is with us. Any official information will be communicated only through our official channels”, they concluded.
