For Buse, the priority is not to speculate about what will come, but to enjoy the present. “The US Open excites me, but what excites me more is having won here, to be honest with you (…) I have to try to enjoy and focus on the present, the priority is the tournament where I am,” he said.

Especially in individual sports (…) you have to find the solutions yourself and that makes you evolve a lot not only as a player but also off the court,” he added.
“I have my rituals. I work on them with my psychologist. So many things go through my head. It’s an internal struggle against yourself all the time, but at the same time you have to think that you are playing against the other (…) it’s a matter of relying on those outside, not feeling completely alone,” Buse explained in an interview with Mano a Mano by Michael Succar.
