Iran affirmed this Saturday that its attacks against US interests will continue “until the total surrender of the enemy,” amid a new escalation of the conflict between both countries, after US President, Donald Trump, assured that talks with Tehran continue despite the cross-attacks.

“The continuous and selective attacks of our fighters are the lashes of the Iranian people’s anger, falling upon the system of domination and will continue, with God’s help, until the total surrender of the enemy,” assured the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Mohamad Baqer Zolqadr, in a message disseminated by the Tasnim agency, linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

Zolqadr, who replaced Ali Larijani in the position after his death in Israeli-American bombings, affirmed that Tehran’s offensives against US targets in Middle Eastern countries will not cease until “the blood of innocent children” is avenged.
Among them are the 168 minors killed in an attack on a primary school in Minab on the first day of the war against Iran launched by Israel and the United States on February 28.
“Every column of smoke in the region means that a US military, security, or financial center has been hit,” Zolqadr stated.
The statements come amid a new escalation of clashes between Iran and the United States, which began two weeks ago, after Trump ended the ceasefire following Iranian attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
In response to US attacks against Iranian territory, especially in the south of the country, Tehran has responded with missile and drone launches against US targets in several countries in the region, such as Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, among others.
These actions have caused the death of four US soldiers, raising the number of American military casualties to 18 since the start of the conflict.

Iran, for its part, has reported about 55 deaths during the new escalation recorded in July.
However, Trump affirmed on Friday that talks with Iran continue despite the cross-attacks after the truce breakdown, although he assured that he does not believe Tehran is “ready” yet to reach a definitive peace agreement.
On Thursday, Trump told the US portal Axios that he is considering launching a “massive attack” against the Islamic Republic.
