It was around three in the morning and Analu Martínez couldn’t stop thinking about that scene. She had spent the day memorizing the text and planned to record the casting calmly, but something told her she shouldn’t wait any longer. She got up, tidied herself a bit, turned on the light, set up the camera, and started acting. Two takes were enough. In the second, she found the emotion she was looking for and, without thinking twice, sent the video.

“I felt something like: ‘Send it now, you have to do it now.’ I connected very deeply with the scene,” she recalls.

The decision to send the casting that early morning marked the beginning of a journey that would take her to Brazil as one of the six protagonists of “Sempre Desbravador,” a youth series produced by RUDFILMS that will premiere in early 2027.
In the series, she plays Nayra, a young Peruvian who becomes the only Spanish-speaking voice within a story mainly developed in Portuguese. Her character begins a search for her family roots that takes her to Puno, where she hopes to find answers and connections to her past.

Andean identity
Analu found a personal connection in Nayra. Her Andean roots and the trips she made as a child to Ayacucho allowed her to build the character from a story that is also part of her.
“I wanted to give her humanity and authenticity. I have taken it with great respect because I feel it is a big responsibility and, at the same time, very rewarding to put my Peruvian identity into this character,” she points out.
Nayra will not only represent Peru. Being the only protagonist who speaks Spanish, she will also be the bridge to the Spanish-speaking audience of Latin America.
Part of the series was filmed in Puno, in locations such as Lake Titicaca and the floating islands of the Uros. Some scenes also feature locals and personalities from the region.
“You can see the production’s concern to give importance to the fact of coming to Peru. It’s not treated as something minor; it’s a very important event within the story,” she affirms.
The rest of the filming took place in the Brazilian state of Paraná, in cities like Maringá, Ponta Grossa, and Curitiba. Analu stayed in Brazil for about a month.

“Today I can say it has been the best experience I have had so far on my path as an actress,” she assures.
“Sempre Desbravador” is aimed at a youth audience and combines adventure, fantasy, personal growth, purpose, and teamwork. Its six protagonists must complete a mission that will lead them to discover not only new places but also who they are and what unites them.
For Analu, the project represents the opening of a door she had long thought too far away.
“I dreamed of traveling and doing projects abroad, but I saw it as almost impossible. I had no idea how it was done. Now I know it is possible and that my dreams have no limits. That gives me strength and confidence to keep sending castings,” she reflects.
Acting journey
Her path began in theater. She studied Performing Arts and trained with teachers like Alberto Ísola and Leonardo Torres. In 2023, she produced and starred in “La mujer espada,” a play by Mariana de Althaus.
In the audiovisual field, she starred in the short films “Nina,” “El disparo,” and “Brote de verdad,” as well as participating in an episode of “En la mente del villano.” At the end of 2026, she will premiere “Misión Caleb,” her first film.

On television, meanwhile, she made appearances in productions such as “Al fondo hay sitio” and “Luz de luna,” although she is still waiting for the opportunity to take on a more developed character.
“That leading role in Peruvian television hasn’t arrived yet, but it’s something I would really like. Television is a great window to showcase your work to a wider audience. I look forward to that moment with great hope, but also with patience and calm,” she concludes.
