Hanna Delgado, former member of La Bella Luz, revealed that during her time with the group, she allegedly suffered inappropriate touching by Calín Sánchez, whom she identified as the group’s timbalero and brother of César Sánchez Chavesta, who is now accused of sexual harassment against Naldy Saldaña.
In an interview with ‘América hoy’, Delgado said she was part of the orchestra between January and March 2024, a period during which, according to her account, the alleged incident occurred while she was performing in a show with other members.
“He touched my shorts, pulled them, and kind of adjusted my shorts. Yes, it’s the timbalero, who I believe is Calín (Sánchez). It was at the beginning of 2024,” Hanna said during a phone call.
The former singer indicated that after the incident, she decided to report the matter to people close to the group, including Pilar, wife of Óscar Custodio, owner of La Bella Luz, hoping to receive support and a response to her complaint.

However, Delgado said the response she received after reporting the incident was not what she expected and stated that the case was not handled with the seriousness she believed was necessary.
“When we told her what happened, especially Mrs. Pilar, she said: ‘No, they are like that, I don’t think it happened, calm down, daughter, it will pass’. And she didn’t do anything else,” the artist said.

The singer said she reported the alleged incident while emotionally affected and claimed that after reporting what happened, she noticed a change in how she was treated within the group environment.
“I mentioned it to her crying and she kind of didn’t take it seriously and everything continued. But it wasn’t so normal either because she started treating me with indifference”, Delgado stated.
So far, the accused musician has not made a statement, but Oscar Custodio, owner of La Bella Luz, said that he was immediately removed.
