Correcting or modifying the information on a minor’s DNI (National Identity Document) often raises questions among parents and guardians, especially when a piece of data is found that needs to be changed. As virtual services gain ground, interest in resolving these types of procedures from home also grows, avoiding travel and long waits at offices.

Reniec has a digital tool that allows quick and free consultation of the progress of DNI processing, without the need to go to an office. With this option, citizens can verify if their document is already available for collection.
