The National Elections Jury (JNE) formalized the delivery of the credential of senator of the Republic to Absalón Vásquez Villanueva, who will occupy the seat corresponding to Popular Renewal for the legislative period 2026-2031.
During the session, which will be held at the Gran Teatro Nacional, the JNE will also deliver its credentials to Luis Galarreta (first vice presidency) and Miguel Torres (second vice presidency).
The National Elections Jury (JNE) reported that as of 00:00 on Monday, June 1, various electoral restrictions will come into force throughout the country due to the presidential run-off scheduled for Sunday, June 7.
