The seven talks of the event, featuring various national speakers, will be held at the Chancay Castle facilities, an infrastructure considered a tourist symbol of the northern region.
“For us, it is a pride that the Chancay Castle hosts an event like TDEx. We feel it is an opportunity to show that the castle can be more than a tourist attraction. We want to establish ourselves as a space where important things happen, where culture, innovation, and new ideas meet,” said Andrea Barreto Podestá, general director of the Chancay Castle, in an interview with El Comercio.
She added that TDEx will allow the castle to reach a segment of the public that still does not know the benefits it offers and will position Chancay as a destination with great potential not only in tourism but also culturally and business-wise.
“The entire local economy will move a lot, it will be energized, and that motivates us a lot because we are not only generating greater awareness of the castle and its facilities but also of the area,” she added.
Important project for 2027
The construction of a six-story hotel is the most ambitious project of the Chancay Castle for 2027. The space will have all the amenities to ensure a satisfactory experience for future guests.
The project’s goal is to consolidate the castle’s growth not only as a tourist attraction but also as a modern complex for corporate meetings.
“We hope to reach the five-star hotel category. In January, we will inaugurate the first three floors of the hotel and then open it completely. That will be the main project of 2027 within the castle,” assured Andrea Barreto Podestá.
