The Government today officially appointed Luis Yunis, Eswin Manay, and Armando Subauste as the new superintendents of Migraciones, Sucamec, and Sunarp, respectively, in their three respective publications in the official newspaper El Peruano under supreme resolutions signed by the President of the Republic, Keiko Fujimori.

The changes come after the resignations of the previous heads of these institutions were accepted.

At the National Superintendency of Migration, through Supreme Resolution No. 223-2026-IN, Luis Pares Yunis Herrera was appointed. The new official assumes leadership of the agency responsible for migration control, replacing Juan Ramiro Alvarado Gómez, whose resignation was accepted in the same edition of the Legal Norms bulletin.
Meanwhile, the National Superintendency for the Control of Security Services, Weapons, Ammunition, and Explosives for Civil Use (Sucamec) will be headed by Eswin Alexander Manay Guerrero. His appointment was formalized through Supreme Resolution No. 225-2026-IN, after Rafael Fernando Ríos Zavala submitted his resignation letter.
The resolutions related to the Interior sector are endorsed by Minister César Astudillo Salcedo. These movements in the superintendencies attached to the Ministry of the Interior are complemented by other recent changes in the Deputy Ministerial Office of Internal Order, where on August 12, former Renovación Popular Senate candidate Alberto Jordán was also appointed deputy minister.
In the field of justice, the institutional changes were endorsed by Minister Ernesto Álvarez Miranda. Current regulations establish that superintendents are trusted positions appointed by the Presidency of the Republic at the proposal of the corresponding sectors to lead the management of these specialized technical bodies.
Armando Subauste assumes leadership of Sunarp
Lawyer Armando Miguel Subauste Bracesco was appointed the new National Superintendent of Public Registries through Supreme Resolution No. 157-2026-JUS. The regulation highlights that the position was vacant and that the appointment complies with the provisions of Law No. 26366, which governs the National System of Public Registries.
Subauste Bracesco succeeds Never Patrik Miranda Aburto, whose resignation was formalized through Supreme Resolution No. 156-2026-JUS. The new head of Sunarp will be responsible for leading the institution in charge of registering and publicizing the acts, contracts, and rights of citizens throughout the country.
