Peruvian singer-songwriter Bettine Solf released ‘Groundhog Day’, her new album recorded between 2023 and 2025 in Lima and London, with sessions held at the Humanimal studio and Abbey Road Institute, respectively.

The album takes its name from its latest single, a song that reflects on the repetition of certain events and the feeling of going through constant cycles. The track features a music video available on YouTube and music platforms.
The production incorporates influences from the 1970s and recording techniques inspired by the work of producer Glyn Johns. Additionally, it includes a reinterpretation of the “Carnaval de Cajamarca” as part of its sound proposal.

The album brings together the participation of musicians and producers from Peru, Brazil, and England, including Chris Farfan (TK), Renzo Solano (Emergency Blanket), Rafo Arbulú, Bruno Motta, and Luis Felber (Too Much – Netflix).
The artist stated that the album was born during the final stage of the pandemic and continued to develop during her Music Production studies at Abbey Road Institute. The songs address themes such as migration, travel, farewells, and building a new home.
